Getting a DBS Corporate Credit Card Fee Waiver Without Using Digibot (Singapore)
Another life tip!
If you’re holding a DBS Corporate Credit Card but don’t have a personal DBS account, you’ll quickly realize you can’t use the automated Digibot service to request a fee waiver. That neat shortcut is only for personal accounts.
I followed the official Phone Banking instructions here: DBS support link, but it didn’t work for me. After selecting “fee waiver request,” it kept giving me just a single option: Cheque fee waiver.
Here’s what actually worked for me this year (2025):
-
Call 1800 111 1111 (Singapore) or +65 6327 2265 (Overseas).
-
Press 1 for English.
-
Press 1 for “other matter.”
-
Enter your card number followed by #.
-
Press 1 to proceed.
-
(You may randomly get asked to select digital service. Ignore this and wait it out.)
-
Wait for the OTP, enter it followed by #.
-
(Again, you may be asked about digital service. Just hold on until the line continues.)
-
Press *0 to speak with customer service.
-
Press 3 for credit card (might be 2, I was a bit blur by then).
-
Finally, stay on the line—ignore any further nudges toward digital service.
Why so many “maybes”? Because I called a few times just to figure this sequence out, and the steps weren’t always identical.
The good news: once you get through, the customer service officer is as always, friendly and helpful. The not-so-good news: I really wish this was more straightforward instead of having to crack a secret code to get there.
